Sliding Anchor Type 3 is designed to absorb the thermal expansion movements of high-rise buildings (skyscrapers) and large-scale precast or natural stone panels in mechanical facade systems. The Type 3 model has the highest static values of the series with its expanded body geometry and maximum material thickness. By allowing the profile to move freely in the vertical axis, it prevents stresses caused by the expansion coefficient of aluminum from damaging the facade cladding and the main structure.
